iStar Programs
- Our teachers are kind, caring, empathetic individuals willing to guide students throughout the entire educational procedure and provide EXTRA one-on-one aid if necessary.
- If students, due to any reason, misses a class, our teachers are willing to provide make-up sessions for your child by negotiating a suitable date for your child to come and catch up on the lessons missed.
- We allow our students to learn and grow through having fun and understanding concepts rather than memorizing formulas and overwhelming our students with loads of homework.
- We allow our students to be flexible with the knowledge that they receive from our lessons and give them the ability to integrate what they've learned into the real world.
- In addition to feeding knowledge, we develop learning skills such as concentration, focus, flexibility, adaptability, confidence, teamwork and independent abilities, as well as student character. We allow our students to become brighter students that participate in class discussions.
Other Learning Centres
- Teachers are usually more focused on person aspects rather than their students, and most are unwilling to provide any excessive help to students that are struggling.
- Other learning centres do NOT offer make-up sessions. You miss it, you miss it.
- Other learning centres believe in teaching through constant, mechanical repititions of paper/homework. Most teach dry concepts and expect students to memorize formulas rather than understanding them.
- Students are taught highly mechanically and are usually unable to adapt to different scenarios faced within the real world.
- Students are fed knowledge, but learning skills and character development are not usually considered within the teaching curriculum.
